Zip
so who thinks the amd logos look outdated? i think most of them look quite unprofessional, the athlon64 and fs are looking better but the opteron one if awful. what do you guys think? could you design a better one? MxxCon
current one is fine. spend less money on visual design and more on actual R&D
Zip
good point mxxcon... i spose they are in debt lol thing is, people who arnt clued up think amd is a cheap shoddy alternative to intel (in my experience anyways). joe user is wedded to pentium. Betelgeuse
Yeah I agree with Tyler, it's time for AMD to invest a little in it's logo and corporate look / feel. The other day I found this really old chip - didn't know what it was from but it was dated '79 and had the same old AMD logo. :/ Time for a refresh AMD! :|
8tImER
Why should they change their corporate logo? It's always been that arrow. Should stay that way. (N.b.: Intel always had their 'intel' (with the 'e' subscripted) and 'intel inside-swirl' logos.)
Zip
im not meaning the corperate one, thats fine. you gotta admi tho, the opteron model logo is crappy.
TranceSphere
you gotta admi tho, the opteron model logo is crappy. Who cares if it has a crap logo. (i dont think it looks crap BTW) Most opterons will be stuck in a room where not many ppl see them. ;)

Nexus-
theres 2 versions of each logo the one in the image above which would be used for different things like polo t-shirts, banners etc. then you have that little sqare one well for the 64 bit processors they have athlon at the top with the 64 in the middle(see avatar) for all the old athlon xp, durron and, t-bird it lood differentlyall the products have had a version of the logo above the xp, opteron, a64 etc.
Iain
Yeh, where I work, customers are adamant on buying a Pentium PC. We only have celery in the lower end ones, and Athlon in all of the others.

Betelgeuse
Actually I really like AMD and their CPU's. One of my PC's is an Athlon XP. (Y) I like the green and black, corporate colors. But I wonder if they can render their "Arrow" logo or something. Pretty it up I guess would be cool, not necessarily change it. :|
