I had to send my 23" ips touch monitor in to Acer for repair due to image retention and some distortion. I got notification today that the repair was complete and unit was shipped. I didn't know if they repaired or replaced it but I contacted them via chat and the person told me their details stated that the touch module had been replaced and the monitor was tested for retention or any lines. I had hoped for a new monitor but I guess this way I get to keep my good monitor with no dead pixels. I must say that Acer support is great and I can't wait to get touch support back to Windows 8.1.
