The_Decryptor Veteran Posted February 2, 2014 Veteran Share Posted February 2, 2014 Don't forget to revert the mapping when the site is fixed guys, if you forget it then you run the risk of having the site randomly break for you down the track. AsherGZ
Is it just me or all the images on the main site and most of the avatars are broken.
+Xomkey Subscriber² Posted February 2, 2014 Subscriber² Share Posted February 2, 2014 Is it just me or all the images on the main site and most of the avatars are broken. It's not just you. Several of the images on the site have absolute paths to neowin.net, which means they will not load when you access the site using the neow.in address. Gerowen
Is it just me or all the images on the main site and most of the avatars are broken. There's supposed to be an image in my signature that's from linuxcounter.net , but all it's showing for me is the filename of the image.

riahc3
Hello, ipconfig /flushdnsSolved it for me. Also someone posted this on Facebook and Neowin (I guess Steven) confirmed it: This is a new ICANN regulation, folks. Effective since January 2014. ICANN are requiring domain owners to confirm their WHOIS email address periodically starting this year. After multiple failed verification attempts, ICANN revokes the domain.
