Graduation

Recommended Posts

Hey guys/girls, I know you're a helpful bunch so I hope I've come to the right place. My high school grad yearbook write up (the caption that goes beside your picture in the yearbook) is due on Tuesday and I've no idea where to start :( I could be boring and cheesy and write "Thanks to..." and "remember when..." but I want to be a bit different than everyone else and I was hoping to get some inspiration from you all. Any quotes/suggestions/ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :D

i went with the general:

"thanks to my parents, friends..."

listed a few memories...

and that was it.

somehow i managed to fill 4 lines, and not remember any of it.

i guess my senior caption will be as big a surprise to me as it will be to everyone else when i finally get the yearbook.

i went with "all i really needed to know, i learned in kindergarten"

Haha, yeah, my knowledge doesn't go past colours and counting 1-10 ;)

There's no "right" thing to do/say for stuff like this beyond what you yourself want to do, if anything.

If there's a particular kind of topic, whatever, you might want to find something appropriate for, bartleby.com can be a pretty good starting point for formally cited stuff.

Say whatever you want that you find personally suits you and have found relevant at some point to your life, be it something a parent/teacher/friend has said, whatever.

If in doubt, hey, go simple and just say "thank you" or something comparable. It's not a test. :)

Quote Manson. I did. Charlie that is.

"Look down on me, you will see a fool. Look up at me, you will see your Lord. Look straight at me, you will see yourself."
