Group similar taskbar buttons!

Why doesn't my group function work? I have try to activate that and restart but it doesn't work. I have try to deactivate that and restart and activate again but it doesn't work? Is there another trick to make that working? did i buy again a unfinished operating system :ermm: :ermm:

My OS is Windows XP PRO

That In TaskBar Properties That you have under "Taskbar"tab that "Group Similar taskbar buttons" is checked. that's the only other thing i can think of.

Ok, you probably have them enabled correctly.

The only reason they aren't being used is becuase you proabably don't have enough windows open. Grouping doesn't kick in until you start running out of room on the taskbar. There's no really reason to group if you have space...

But, if you want to check, open up IE and hit CTRL+N to open up some windows until the taskbar is full, and it should kick in after the 7th or so, depending on your screen size.

Exactly what I was gonna say :)

Ya, you can change the number of popups before it groups in the PowerTools...but normally, its set to 10 or around there.

You can make it really few like 2, or lots like 20...its your choice!
