Steven
That In TaskBar Properties That you have under "Taskbar"tab that "Group Similar taskbar buttons" is checked. that's the only other thing i can think of.
simms
I think the part that's hardest to gripe is the powertoys bit, you have to fiddle around with it before you realize where it is :p
freeza
use TweakUI , it has a setting in there for grouping ;D
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted January 24, 2002 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2002 Ok, you probably have them enabled correctly. The only reason they aren't being used is becuase you proabably don't have enough windows open. Grouping doesn't kick in until you start running out of room on the taskbar. There's no really reason to group if you have space... But, if you want to check, open up IE and hit CTRL+N to open up some windows until the taskbar is full, and it should kick in after the 7th or so, depending on your screen size. Hope this explains it...
simms
Exactly what I was gonna say :) Ya, you can change the number of popups before it groups in the PowerTools...but normally, its set to 10 or around there. You can make it really few like 2, or lots like 20...its your choice!
