My only console ... a boxed NES with light gun and duck hunt purchased from Nintendo UK's head office in Portsmouth back in the day.

I couldn't even begin to list what i own.

Pretty much any popular and not so popular computer/consoles from the 80s till now.

We never sold or chucked away stuff. Also car boots were good too

Got a few older ones, and pretty much every console emulator out there for the PC.  (PC's still my #1 choice.)

Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, Gamecube, Wii, XBox 360, Game Boy Color, DSi. Also like ten of those stupid individual handheld games you could buy that looked like a controller and had a tiny screen and rudimentary controls and only the one game

(And probably one of those plastic maze games with small metal balls you had to flip into the various indentions.)

I've owned virtually all of them at some point or other but I've never been a big gamer so now I only keep what consoles as I have as curiosities. I currently have a PS2, a SNES, and a GameCube :)

If I waited to take this poll until today, I could have added WiiU to the list.

I am a HUGE fan of the Donkey Kong Country series, and also have (had) an XBox 360 that was collecting dust in my basement. So traded it in, got 50% extra credit, so a brand new WiiU Zelda Wind Walker Bundle cost me $180.

I actually have some work being done at my house tomorrow so I am off from work, so I will be heading to Toy's R Us first thing in the morning to pick up DKCR:TF and then Mario Kart 8 when it is released. Still also have the new 3D Mario World to play, plus of course the Wind Walker HD remake I got for free with the console, and honestly I can say it is worth it for those games alone, as I believe I will have that good of a gaming experience.

The WiiU really is a niche console. For those of us who appreciate the Nintendo Formula, and do not mind purchasing a console for it and it alone.

Retro Console option can cover that. I couldn't be bothered adding every conceivable console. I'd no doubt miss one.

I've owned most of the listed ones at some point, but after a year of non use I usually gave it away or sold it to upgrade. So for the first time in awhile, I'm down to 3 xb1, wii, wii u. I'll pick up a ps4 soon enough, just need that one game to come out that I have to play

I started with a ColecoVision (with the Atari 2600 Expansion Module) then an NES, SNES, N64 and finally a Dreamcast as my last console.

My cousin had an Intellivision and later a Sega Genesis so I played on those a lot also.
