Which Metro Apps Should Microsoft Include With The Desktop Version Of Windows?

Recommended Posts

Can you share the proper command for this?

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppXProvisionedPackage -online | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage ?online

The second command prevents the apps from re-appearing whenever you create new user accounts.

I would say Skype (but it really REALLY needs alot of improvement), and MS Office metro apps. Windows 9 would be awesome if it had Windows + Office bundled together in one neat package.

Skype for me because its the only Metro app I use as I can dock it to the side of my screen, something the desktop version cant seem to do :/

It would be nice if they bundled Office with Windows. But I think they should work on the desktop app for Skype and bundle that was well.

That would increase the price, and potentially turn away buyers not interested in it. Not to mention, the EU would have a field day with that because the Hell if we can have nice things.

I kind of agree. But Office apps in general have there own open source counterparts. And Apple is making a lot of their utilities free as well. As long as Microsoft provides some kind of option to choose an alternative I don't think they would catch any flak for it.
