saiz66
does it make a difference? if u recharge it as often as possible would it decrease the life of the battery?.. r there any facts? or is this just a myth?
Danrarbc
does it make a difference? if u recharge it as often as possible would it decrease the life of the battery?.. r there any facts? or is this just a myth? With the old NiCad batteries yes they'd lose life more quickly being recharged all the time. That's the memory effect. The new batteries like Lithium Ion and NiMH can theoretically develop it too, but it takes much longer. So to the original poster. It doesn't really matter much, you can do it either way. You won't harm it. But yeah, waiting 'til it's empty is safer. Edited December 2, 2003 by Danrarbc641
HellBender
I don't know if its a myth or not, but from what I've heard about cell phone NIC batteries, you should charge them as often as possible. If you let it drop to almost empty each time, it makes it so that the battery doesnt last as long. Thats what my parents tell me. I haven't seen any proof. morganpugh84
If you like games and don't have an sp, buy one. i am thinking about it because i own a gameucbe :D i wont ask how good they are because i know they are good  pretty much everything from nintendo is top quality. the onlything i worry about is the rechargable battery. i have waited since it was first released (about a year now isnt it?) to see what the battery was like after a year. also to see what nintendo will do about replacing them :D
