Rising Sun or Allied Assault?

Recommended Posts

If you play online, I highly recommend not getting any of the MOH series, the game is basically dead, I know AA is dead, and SH and BT are still being played at least that I know of, doubt any patches are being released though, or anytime soon with all the gay online cheats :/

But as for single player, I will download and play it :p

I feel as if the graphics of the predecessor were more varied and detailed, Rising Sun sports some fair character models and weapon textures, but the entire environment feels very generic and in a way eliminates a portion of that atmosphere that made Allied Assault such a breath-taking title. Not to say this is a major loss, the accuracy of the events and the THX-certified audio are both very immersive. The enemy intelligence was also a disappointment, I found times when I had them starring down the barrel of my M14 without a single concern.

I encountered several times when they experienced collision problems and would become caught in a loop of an animation segment. Other times I witnessed them idling as I tossed a live frag and did not attempt to seek cover until the fuse was about to be ignited. The game also follows scripted events as if it were a religion, you feel very claustrophobic throughout the entire experience from a straightforward set of tasks. Combined with the simplistic game mechanics of a generic first-person shooter, I don't see how anyone could claim this to be a sequel to the game that struck us in early 2002.

I play Medal of Honor: Allied Assault online every night, theres hundreds if not thousands of servers with people playing on, so i guess youd better research a bit more before making stupid comments like that

Do research? Hah, I played MOH:AA since demo day 1 of it's stalingrad multiplayer demo, don't tell me to do research on something that I can simply own you in.

COD is out, as well as other games, and yes, MOH:AA has been dead for quite awhile, but people still played it.

1. After since 1.11, EA not bothered to help the game ever again, as they do to all games.

2. Cheats can be found at your grandmothers website.

3. The lack of anti-cheats developed has barely helped the community, basically, the competition community such as TWL, OGL, CAL etc

4. Go here: http://www.gamespy.com/stats/ MOH:AA use to be #2 or #3 weeks ago.

5. I and many others have been getting rid of servers, mine will be gone at least by saturday. Of the 2 I had. Other clans have already got rid of their servers, now, yes, there is still 1,500 servers approximately, and barely all of them are always full, probably 100-150 servers have people in them the rest are a waste unless used by clan.

want me to give you some information on what I said?
