SlayerS_BoxeR
Hello, This belongs in the Windows section. Have you installed any new hardware? my apologies - can this be moved to windows section then? no i haven't. i have had this issue for a while :( the only usb driver thats hooked atm is the logitech usb driver for my mouse - so i was wondering whether i should uninstall the usb composite device and reinstall? or do you think it's another issue where is coming from? Eric Veteran Posted March 11, 2014 Veteran Share Posted March 11, 2014 What OS version is it? Windows 8.1 had issues with Logitech drivers so either uninstalling it or updating to the latest version might fix it. Their mice are HID-compliant so they will still work without their drivers. Eric Veteran Posted March 11, 2014 Veteran Share Posted March 11, 2014 W7 Home Premium :( I would try uninstalling SetPoint anyway and see if it stops. If that's not the problem you can always reinstall it. :) You might also make sure your motherboard's chipset drivers are both installed and up to date. SlayerS_BoxeR
I frequently get the BUGUSBCODE_ERROR Message. I initially thought it came from the usb, but it seems to crash even when none of the usb is plugged. I have ran the scan for report - could anyone help me how to fix this ? report.zip
Hum
Perhaps running a Error check on your boot drive would help. Reinstall/Update chipset drivers for your motherboard/manufacturer. Maybe there is a BIOS update. Are you overclocking ? http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/bluescreen-usb-bug-code-error/360793b0-8387-4efd-bf71-de304a5fc52d

Eric Veteran Posted March 14, 2014 Veteran Share Posted March 14, 2014 It would be more helpful if you could zip and post the dump file the report mentions. It's located at "C:\Windows\Minidump\031114-25849-01.dmp"

John.D
Theres nothing in the zip file. If there's any Symantec / Norton programs installed, uninstall them. Then use the removal tool, to remove the rest of it

Eric Veteran Posted March 15, 2014 Veteran Share Posted March 15, 2014 It looks like the USB drivers themselves are crashing. Is this an AMD or Intel system? I would still try installing the latest chipset drivers if you haven't already. If you have Intel - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20775&ProdId=816 If you have AMD - http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows If that doesn't work you may need to go through the USB device list and remove non-present devices. I can post that info if the chipset drivers don't fix it.
John.D
sncduvc.SYS can cause this stop error. See if there are any updates for your webcam. Are these 64 bit drivers?? Since it looks like you're using 64 bit windows. Possible daemontools is causing it too. Its a known causes of crashes. I would uninstall this. Then see if it continues to crash

Besides, could you please the info about going through the USB device list in case I will encounter the issue again? FYI, I feel like it often crashed when I was watching online streaming sncduvc.SYS can cause this stop error. See if there are any updates for your webcam. Are these 64 bit drivers?? I have daemon and just uninstalled - but prior uninstalling them, its always been configured not to run when window starts nor having a mount device. (it's been a while that I haven't used, but it was a daemon lite)
Eric Veteran Posted March 16, 2014 Veteran Share Posted March 16, 2014 I've attached a cmd script that will launch the device manager in a mode that shows missing and non-present devices. If you run this as an administrator then select "Show hidden devices" in the View menu you should see all of the USB devices that are or have been used under the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" subtree. Just go down the list and right-click on each of the ones that are grayed out and select Uninstall. If it gives you the option of removing the drivers then check that before clicking OK. Here is the contents of the file for reference: @echo off set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 Start DEVMGMT.MSC DevMgrRaw.zip
