PWizard
I've been trying to update my Windows 8.1.1 Pre-Release to the new RTM using the KB packs available from this website. The problem is that my PC goes into an automatic repair loop right after installing KB2919355. I had no problems installing KB2919442, KB2939087 and KB2932046. Can anyone assist? macoman
Why you want to broke your Windows with something that has not been released yet?
Brandon H Supervisor Posted March 14, 2014 Supervisor Share Posted March 14, 2014 you'll need to uninstall the pre-release first i do believe
PWizard
Can you actually uninstall the pre-release? or would I have to reinstall the stock 8.1? I'd obviously prefer not to do that if at all possible.
Nerd Rage
^ You can uninstall it. Just look for the installed updates and remove.
PWizard
I installed the previous 8.1.1 update from an ISO so the updates do not appear under installed updates.
