IE 11.0.7 - Dead Pixel Effect

Recommended Posts

I noticed when using the IE app after doing a clean install of Windows 8.1 Update 1 that I have what looks like a dead pixel. Though after trying my other monitor and looking on my desktop/other apps it seems like this is only occurring in IE on any website.

Anyone else get this? Here is a picture of what I mean exactly.

I had the same problem with Win8, after an upgrade to 8.1 it was gone

I had the same issue as well on my Surface, after upgrading to 8.1 it stopped. I usually just restarted the app or the device.

Huh. Restarting IE fixed it. Not sure why I didn't try that but that is definitely an odd issue.

I've seen that dot make an appearance on my machine every now and then. Not sure if I've seen it since installing 8.1.
