Mite get Satalite Internet

My cousin was tellin me on da fone today that he knows someone who said he could set up satalite Internet for free (has too pay him to do it but no monthly charges)

Dunno if its bullsh*t tho

Can someone giv me the ups and downs of a Sat connection, cause i havn't got a clue :ermm:

most likely you'll still have to use your modem for upload.

so that's 33.6 up.

d/l is usualy around 400kbit.

expect huge ping times becuase signal is going to space and then back down.

if you are too cheap to pay for normal boardband or can't get it then go w/ satellite, otherwide get dsl/cable

I've told em once and i'll tell em again

Its cheaper

I've dialed around 600 times in 3 months our last phone bill was $400

now would broadband be cheaper than that?

My parents are old and stupid and need to get wif da times
