hunter1234
I just bought an lcd module to hook up to my computer and I need a surface to mount it on. I decided on flexiglass, but I have no idea where to buy it. Do you guys know where I can get it?

notchbak
dood go by a glass shop and see if they have Lexan ... nearly all glass suppliers do. its 100x more durable than plexiglass.. you can even heat and bend it. its also available in black too .. which in some designs looks better than the clear. plexiglass tends to crack and break in all the wrong places and the edges are hard to make nice cuts on if you dont have ALL the right tools. Lexan on the other hand can be cut with a dremel tool easily ... most of the mods for cpu cases ive done i was able to get the scrap pieces for free or next to nothing. check around .. youll be glad u did. I thought Lexan has a high temperature deflection? If it is, then you can't really use conventional methods to mold it. Has anyone worked with Lexan? Has anyone worked with Lexan? i didnt mean HEAT and MOLD exotic stuff.. that requires and oven and some diligence. i just mean like heat and bend.. minor curves and corners. and a heat gun or some form of radiant heat works fine for this. google search turns up alot of stuff on this.
