GuidZilla
If you haven't already, the forums at http://www.counter-strike.net have a specific area for advertising clan openings and such, so you could prolly find some interest there or theres a few channels on gamesnet irc that you can find people for tryouts and such. Are you already on Gamesnet? L8ta

GuidZilla
Bah, simple enough really, just get a copy of mIRC from http://www.mirc.com , install it and either use as is, or visit http://www.nnscript.de/ to get a copy of NoName Script(my fav, very clean and easy to use) and install it in your directory where you installed mIRC. Then run mIRC, and if you installed NoName script it'll ask ya to config some things which are pretty self explanatory. Then go to view/options in mIRC and click on Servers on the left, then in the drop down box select Gamesnet. Then click on Connect and enter in a Nickname and email(bogus email recommended incase of spam trolls) and hit Connect. Once your connected theirs a couple command to use. One is to register your nickname so noone else can use it. Type: /AuthServ register account password email@provider.com Account is your nickname, and in this command you must use a real email address, cuz it will email you with a command to use as a verification(like email verification for forums) Then whenever you connect to gamesnet you want to "Auth" so it knows who you are. /Authserv auth account password After that just goto Tools/Channels list and hit "ok" and you'll get a full list of the thousands of channels on Gamesnet. Or get some channels from your friends and enter them by typing /join #channelname - Simple as that :) Seems more complicated and lengthy than it really is. You can also visit Gamesnet site at http://www.gamesnet.net for more help and tutorials. Good luck, hope this helps.
