i3omberman28
Has anyone flown with EVA Airways before?? if so plz tell me comments about the airline + inflight entertainment etc.
sdkaneda
the airline saves money by running only one engine and letting people get special discount fares if they don't mind sitting in the cargo hold. the in-flight entertainment is watching some big guy passengers beat up a wanna-be terrorist and lash him to his seat with belts. never heard of EVA airlines :D
Dessimat0r
Eva airways? Where you get picked up by an Evangelion, and carried to your destination? :D

bonobozoot
Is this an international airline or an American one? If so, where does it fly to? Never heard of it before. But if you are talking about the Hooter's airline, hmmm.... Their "inflight" entertainment must be real good :shifty: C'mon people, all those who have been on the hooter's airline, post comments :) Edited December 5, 2003 by bonobozoot
Damien_Old
I flew them from LA to Taipei for Computex and they were very nice, the food was good, and the movies were recent ones too. The TV screens were a bit small, but I was also in 'Economy' class. Overall it was a good experience. EVA is Evergreen Aviation I believe. Evergreen is a big company over in the Taiwan / Hong Kong region.
hoyablue
Depends on the aircraft type your flying on, you won't find entertainment systems on some planes simply because the plane is too old. Delta, for example, only has in flight entertainment for coach class on the 777 and the new 767's, nothing else. It really depends on the age and the type of the fleet and how profitable they are. Some airlines choose not to put video screens simply because it is too much. Emirates, for example, has it on all planes because they can afford to throw money around. i3omberman28
do 767's tend to have inflight personal lcd screens?
Hypercube
If its internation; its bound to have personal enterainment ... unless the airline has serious quality issues.
i3omberman28
its weird because i went to their website and they didn't mention anything about personal screens for the economy classes, but they boasted on about personal screens for their business class which costs US$200 more PP. dreamz Veteran Posted December 6, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 6, 2003 i've flown eva several times. the service was fine, but nothing spectacular, and the food was ok. i flew in the "deluxe" section, so it might be different from plain "economy," but it wasn't bad. i don't remember much about the entertainment, though, but overall flying eva was better than my experiences on northwest.
