keith2065
Can anyone think of what I'm missing here. Windows 7 is restarting at some point. I vaguely recall setting something up to do this, but I can't find where. I have no tasks set up at all, and there isn't any software installed regarding automatic restart. Not sure if it's related, but It's also not automatically connecting to network storage after it has restarted, so anything I've been download is stopping until I manually navigate to the network. Bar reinstalling windows, i'm running out of ideas.
Nick H. Supervisor Posted April 28, 2014 Supervisor Share Posted April 28, 2014 Is there any sort of pattern to it choosing to restart? For example, does it shut down if a particular program is run? Does it shut down after a set amount of time? EDIT: Maybe this could be helpful? keith2065 1 Share
Shiranui
Million reasons why this could be happening. run sfc /scannow and and after it finishes, check the logs if it says it couldn't repair everything and repair those files in missed manually. Check the event logs for clues. Run http://www.memtest.org/ keith2065 1 Share
