Arda82
I currently have an Eclipse wireless controller for XBOX. Although people hate this controller, it never gave me a single problem so far. I was just wondering if i can connect more than 1 wireless controllers to xbox? because this eclipse one would only work in the first port. So what about the other brands? do they also only work in the first port or in the others as well? thank you...

Wavebird = Very good wireless controller. Thrax
i know! i cant wait to get my wavebird :drools: and what about ps2? is there a sony wireless controller? There are two licensed PS2 wireless controllers: Logitech Cordless Controller and Wireless Anashin 2 from Hori - also available in blue. The Hori controller is import only (unless you live in Japan) but can be puchased from import shops VideoGameDepot ( blue currently sold out, black) and Lik-Sang (blue, black). The Logitech PS2 controller should be avoided at all costs. Seriously. Edited December 6, 2003 by Thrax

snippet1
Two of them. LINK and LINK.Again, avoid the second one at all costs. Why? From what I've seen, Logitech input devices are generally the better ones...
Thrax
That one's an exception. Here's a review. Sumary: way to big and heavy, uncomfortable to hold, analog thumbsticks are slippery and offer almost no resistance, shoulder buttons poorly placed, other buttons not as bad but not good either. Logitech's Xbox wireless controller is pretty good, however.
Arda82
ok Whom will answer the ORIGINIAL QUESTION of the thread? Do all the wireless controllers work in PORT 1 like my pelican eclipse one? Because i am planning to get another wireless controller and i do not want to waste my money if i can not use it. Because the pelican wireless one does not work in any other port than 1, like the xbox dvd kit working only in port 2. So please answer my questiiooooonnn... Thrax
The licensed Logitech and Mad Catz wireless Xbox controllers work in any port. You can use four of either of them simultaneously.

Arda82
Logitech is good but it supports 50 hours of gameplay and uses 4 batteries. The eclipse pelican which i have now has a better life duration. I have been using it over 100 hours and i still have good performance. I use two batteries, and i use the ones that came with the controller and it says that those batteries are not long life. I beleive eclipse pelican would beat the logitech. And i never ever had a single tiny problem with the eclipse controller. It is just like the controller S. with very few differences. I wish pelican eclipse would work in any other port so i coud buy another one. How is the mad cats one? How is the duration and stuff? srew logitech. 70 bucks for 50 hours of gameplay? I also wish that they had a wireless controller with rechargable capability, like my logitech mouse which i can recharge if i am not using it. never changed the battery yet. Anyway. Hurry microsoft. Create a wireless and let me buy it.
Briandl79
I don't know if this has been mentioned but did you make sure your other controller ports work with standard controllers ? Seems odd that it only works on the first port, did you contact the companies technical support ?
Arda82
yeah it tells in the booklet that they gave to me. It says you need to connect the eclipse wireless controller to the far left port. It wont work in any other.
kryptonik
the Wavebird is only for the Gamecube because it is made by Nintendo, so if you want it, you'll have to get a Gamecube. And I don't think all the wireless controllers will work on port 1. You need to have more ports for all them to work.
