UT2003 Questions

Recommended Posts

Hello All, I was wondering if any of you could help me out with a few questions i have about Unreal Tournement 2003. At uni we have LAN games of unreal torunement and i usually set up the server. I have some questions :

1)Is it only the server Admin(me) who can kick people ?

2)Am i notified if people are cheating ?

3)If So how ?

4)How can i change options from the console (like my name, the kill limit etc) What are the main console commands ?

5) Ive just added this . . . How do i add levels to the game ? do i just copy them into a folder or something ?

Any help would be greatly appiciated.

why ?

It's incredible that you've been a member on the forums since May and you don't have a clue how real gamers feel about cheating losers like yourself.

1. Anyone with administrative access may modify the server's status.

2. Administrators are not notified, normally the only method of identifying a cheater is through observation.

3. Players involved in a match will raise assumptions, as an admin I would suggest that you consider all of them to be relevant.

4. You can conveniently find a full listing of all console commands at Planet Unreal.

5. Yes, you may also need to extract any necessary material (music, textures, static meshes, etc.) into their corresponding directories.

Side Note: Christ, people - don't jump to conclusions....

Call me froggy. I'm sticking to my guns. If he doesn't cheat it's cuz he doesn't know how. I try not to assume too much...but if a person asks if others will know if he cheats I'm raisin' the flag.
