I'm trying to recreate the arched text effect in Illustrator but can't seem to get it right. I know that you can use the 'arc upper' effect which is what I have done in the black text, but it's not quite right because the whole letter is arched slightly, where as the letters in the original are straight apart from their tops. I thought of just clipping the top off and adding it to another copy of the text with the top clipped off but it doesn't really work. Does anyone know of a good way to do this?
