quigley0
I haven't seen anything from blizzard about them working on starcraft 2. I have noticed that www.starcraft2.com is a registered URL for blizzard, but they dont even have the game listed as "under development". :(

Joseph Zollo
I think it'll be their next project once they're done with WoW and Ghost...it's their oldest game, they definately need to update it.

threetonesun
I'd love to see a new starcraft, I try playing the old one now and am always a little freaked out by the old school interface. Just as long as they don't try and make it a smaller game like WC 3 and keep it focused on giant space battles.

CrimsonBlur
I think it'll be their next project once they're done with WoW and Ghost...it's their oldest game, they definately need to update it. Do you mean, the oldest game they have not made a sequel to? StarCraft is nowhere near their first nor their oldest game.
Jambi
I'd rather they make a new version of Diablo, but that's me.

kryptonik
I'd rather they make a new version of Diablo, but that's me. I think Blizzard South works on Diablo, while Blizzard North makes Starcraft.

HeartsOfWar
Blizzard North Made the diablo series and Blizzard made WC and SC series. Blizzard has already stated that they would definately revisit the starcraft universe, but they haven't given any insight as to what genre they plan to revisit with. SO, in a sense, YES you will have a SC2 but it may not be in the genre as the original SC. I would love to see Blizzard do a more D&D orientated RPG. The Diablo series was fantastic, but I think they've beaten it to death and face it... the only true RPGs around use D&D rules... their replayability is fantastic... BETTER than the diablo series, but their multiplayer aspects always seem to lack. Blizzard could really create one hell of a D&D simulated RPG. yanman
D&D does rule! lol i agree with you, HeartScarab, i would love to see the same.
iron2000
D&D(=Dungeons&Dragons?), how does the rules differ from other RPGs? In my mind RPGs are like the Final Fantasy series.
BananaMan's Girl
I was about to get into D&D rules and such awhile ago, but broke off contact with friends who knew about such stuff. For me, what makes a game replayable is being able to really customize your character. I think the best example out there right now would be Morrowind. You can customize your character to any specification you like. Still, you don't roll for any of it... which takes away some of the fun. I never got into the original starcraft game. I always enjoyed playing it at my friends house and such, but never really did much with it on my own time. I would be quite curious as to how a sequal would be portrayed by Blizzard minds. I would hope they wouldn't scale it down to how WC3 was done. There are plenty of "those" types of games out now.
redFX
They probably aren't working on it. If they were, they would make a press release about it to get some publicity.
Sedriss
They are working on SC2. It was in one of GamePro's mags i believe this year. They had mentioned something about SC2 when (Ghost?) was coming out.
b mitchell
They are working on SC2. It was in one of GamePro's mags i believe this year. HeartsOfWar
D&D rules are very complex and complicated and there are way too many to even begin listing them. Lets just say that D&D rules really immerse people into the world...that is how detail they are. If you've ever played a pen and paper D&D you will know what I mean. it's clearly stated whether the game uses D&D rules. Morrowind does not use D&D rules, but it is still a decent RPG, but there is no multiplayer. NeverWinter NIghts and other games by Bioware such as Baldur's gate and such use more D&D rules than most games available... their replayability is fantastic and the overall game is incredible, but they have none or poor multiplayer. NeoMasamune
Neverwinter Nights is the best D&D game I've ever played. Much different than a Final Fantasy game and like HeartScarab said, it emmerses you in the world. It's addicting and you can't get enough. Also, it's much more true to the "fantasy" aspect of RPGs. Final Fantasy tends to add sci-fi elements to their games. Anyway, as far as Starcraft 2 is concerned. I am a big fan of the original and can't wait for a sequel. I've been wanting Blizzard to update the game for a while now and I think it would rule!
