hotmail upgraded storage capacity?

Recommended Posts

i received an email today in my hotmail account. some friend sent me some surf posters that were about 1 mb each. i didnt realize till i opened the message and i thought "heck, this might have blocked my account from receiving emails for a couple of hours" and when i went back to the inbox it said "you're using 45% of your storage capacity".

so damn.....i went to Manage Folders and i found out i have 10 MB of account space. i thought maybe hotmail upgraded all users when the new interface came out, but i logged with my brother's account and he's only got the default 2 MB.......

whats the deal?? i didnt pay to upgrade, and im sure as hell no one paid for me to have those 10 mb......so, was it random, or what??

crap...only got 2mb...man i should get a little more, i've been using hotmail even before microsoft bought it..i think that was during my sophomore year ('96) or junior year in highschool...those were the days..free email, no spam, and free access to the net (school library) ..hehe..and the hotmail logo back then was so much better then the butterfly..
