macster
Interesting teacher... Anyway why dont you talk to her first and tell her you have problems making a song. Maybe ask for some help and tell her singing the song to other people might be too much for you
Leo Natan
I'll bet she's a lonely bitter woman, probably old (50+), and has no family to go to! You can't be reasonable with such people.
harrytoole
Report her to the principal? It isn't like she asked you to cut off your arm. You have an imagination, I'm assuming, so use it.

thefonz
Okay so i have this crazy math teacher. She teaches geometry and now wants us to make songs about geometry that she will force us to carol around my school during christmas time. :( (who said high school was fun?)Anyway, i need help creating such song. I already made a little of it, its to the tune of "Let it Snow." Please help, my teacher will rape each and every one of us if its not good. :pinch: I just read your original post; and I have to admit...your maths teacher is a genius! I'm not sure about oging round singing it to the school, but singing is a creative way to remember something; we can all remember song lyrics, so why not use it to rememebr mathematics? its a really base system of Pnemonics aswell. I try a similar thing with some of my classes; except when we meet the end of a topic, I get them to draw one picture describing the most important thing they have learnt in the time we have been studying that topic. so for example, if its trig and soh-cah-toa; then they could draw a toolset or something... ...worked fine for me....nothing wrong with looking at new ideas, teaching is already full of too much rubbish.
