I use Tailscale. Install and authenticate it on both systems using same account. I use my Google account. On Windows: Right click on any file -> More options -> Send via Tailscale -> PC/Mac/iPhone/Android name On Mac -> Right click on any file -> Share -> Tailscale Select PC/Mac/iPhone/Android name You might have to enable share with Tailscale extension on macOS.

Stupid comparison, because going to B&W obviously does nothing when measuring memory and CPU performance. Go test and measure it yourself and come back. In my case, "noticeable" obviously means something faster and practical. Just opening and searching on the start menu itself is 1.22s faster.
