..Joking.

Was a bit scary though wasn't powerful but I thought it was one of those nuclear bomb shockwaves and the flames would be coming soon.

I did admit get a bit worried I'd die a virgin and nothing but my dogs nsight I accepetred the fact adn waited for the flames but they never came.

What is the terror level at right now? You'd think the US would see a Nuclear bomb coming, luckily, it was just a tiny little earthquake.

We rarely have earthquakes that you can actually feel here in Virginia. It was pretty cool. :D Never felt one like that before.

WUSS!

i bet you browned your pants and ran into garage to hug your atv

Haha! :D Never had an earthquake here at Ottawa... well there was this one time. Happened at like, what was it? 6 o'clock in the morning? In any case all it did was just shake my house as though an airport was next to it. Anyway I was still asleep (it was a Saturday) so I thought it was part of my dream. :p

a 4.5? you are kidding right? Ive been through 7.5's 8.2's. we sleep through 4.5's. :D

same here, used to live in soCal. people here in washington freak the hell out if there is a 4.0. its front page news.

"damage estimates are being reported at 100 dollars. clean up crews have begun the difficult job of cleaning up the single broken storefront window. geologists are estimating when the next big one like this will hit."

i am exaggerating, yes, but im not joking that people here get very worked up about small earthquakes, its top story on the news and front page in the papers for anything between a 4.0 and 5.0. anything less would still be mentioned on the news.

We have a few small quakes every now and then where I live. Yellowstone is not very far from us.

Though there rarely felt they do register on the monitors around here. About a hours drive from my house is BYU Idaho and they have a few building built right on top of a fault line. Theres also a place about 30 to 40 mins from my house where you can see the fault line.

East Coast is virutally diasastor free well if you don't count any possibile nuclear bomb that could roast most the east coast to death in matter of seconds.

Not surprising though since most of California slept through the gubernatorial election. :D
