Windows Defender isn't horrible on Win8+ (or MSE on 7)

otherwise 360 Internet Security or Avira are my 2 current recommendations for free antivirus as of late

Use the windows one for now. Its better than nothing.

not yet, now i finished testing videos....played 1 hour of videos without any problem, now ill try browsing internet

after few days im here again, I had 2 weeks without problems but it crashed while gaming again. U think its caused by RAM then?

Security Essentials should do just fine, how is the system running now, have u tried a game?

I use a combo of WD+Malwarebytes (8.1 update 1) and recommend MSE+Malwarebytes on 7 or earlier.

 

The tag-team takes down all garden-variety in-the-wild virii and malware (especially those drive-by malware and crapware plug-ins) for a total cost of nothing.
