Versentic
ive been trying to install xp for a couple days now and tried many different things but I keep getting an error. The error occurs after the files have been written to my computer and it reboots. I get the windows xp splash screen and its going to continue with the install, and thats when I get the error. The error looks like this: Error: SXS.DLL Syntax error in manifest or policy file "D:I386asms6000MSFTWindowscommoncontrolscontrols.man" on line 0. Error: Installation Failed: D:I386asms. Error Message: Manifest parse error: an invalid character was found in text content. Fatal error: One of the components that windows needs to continue setup could not be installed. Manifest Parse Error: an Invalid character was found in text content. Please help me fix this problem, any help would greatly be appriciated. DWZ
Yep, I have seen this before, you have to tick the ?finalise? and ?disk at once? boxes in nero before burning.
