hey i didnt fink of that, but means i have to read

dilemma  :book:

not meant as an insult or anything, but I find it funny u are complaining about reading, when 1) you are asking about a book you might want to read, and 2) you are READING these forums. but anyways, it is a very good book, one of the few books I actually liked while in highschool, the only other book I liked in highschool was "The Chocolate War", but, you should definatly read to kill a mocking bird.

i had to write a 7000 word essay two years ago on how it morally relates to society nowadays, how much we've "evolved" through tolerating other cultures and discuss our opinions/give evidence if justice is fair regardless of your ethnic background.

no, i didn't love it. ;)

To Kill A Mocking Bird is one of the most challenged books of 2003, meaning it was a book parents were trying to get banned from schools. It's in the top 10 usually. It made 14 this year. Parents are starting to realize they can't get rid of a great book.

There is a movie. I have watched to movie and read the book. I think the book is very good... I would recommend it. As stated before, it's about a movie about a lawyer who defends a negro in a very racist community. Another important character in the book is Boo Radley, but that's all I should really say in order not to ruin it for you. Go read it!

Movie stars Gregory Peck and Robert Duvall in his first film role.

The book, by Harper Lee, won the Pulitzer Prize.

It's all about "giving a damn" which is probably unfashionable presently.

He is obviously trying to get enough information to write his paper on it without reading the book. Don't help him out, if he's going to skirt his work, at least make him do the skirting.

Ive read the book and watched the film - I suggest you do the same and read / watch to get all you can from it, then write about it. The film / book give slightly different perspectives, and if you compare in your notes, you should do really well :)

If you are going to do both, read the book first, then watch the film.

(Edit so it made (more) sense)

Yeah, like has been said before:

It's a book told from a young girl's perspective about a lawyer who controversially defends a black person on(false?) rape charges. Its about all the prejudices the family experience as a result of this, as, back in the era when the book is set, this was an act society didn't deem as acceptable.

As a sub plot, there is also the story of 'Boo Radley' - a recluse who the children begin to have prejuduices against. Boo Radley then goes on to save the childrens lives from an attack by Mr Ewell who is the guy the kids dad was arguing against in court.

But enough of that GO READ IT YOU LAZY BUGGER
