Aaron P
Hi All, I'm having an issue in Windows XP which I believe is related to AutoPlay. I have a DVD drive and a CDRW drive and this issue happens to both. If I boot the machine and insert a CD into either drive it is recognised correctly by the drive, though the AutoPlay feature of the disk does not start. If I eject the disc, the drive does not recognise that the disc has been ejected, both the disc icon and name appear. If I insert a new disc, it still does not recognise that the new disc in there, but I can read the new disc correctly. Though Autoplay will still not work. I have used TweakUI to turn Autoplay off and then back on. I did have the Creative software installed for my SoundBlaster Live card which installed some of its own software to do with automattically checking inserted discs, which I have removed. Has anyone else had this issue or could shed some light for me. Thanks in advance.
