Nissan Skyline...

Recommended Posts

i was lookin into this the other day, and its mighty expensive. you gotta buy one from japan, have it shipped to a place in the us called, motorex... or autorex.. i forgot, then give them a nice amount of money, to legalize it for the US. your better off buying a bently. ;)

Yeah, what he said, you have to pay roughly $25,000 just to get it into the US with the proper mods

The car itself is roughly $90,000.

maybe because they dont sell the skyline in America? it doesnt pass emissions laws here and to have it shipped over from Japan and have it meet the emission and street regulations it costs a bundle

Try searching on ebay, they have a bunch of stuff on there. My friend bought his car from ebay, got a real nice deal too. Its worth the try. The only other way is to find a private seller or have it shipped from Japan. Althoug you might be better off buying a bently like divinatum said. I wouldn't mind a bently, but my dream car is a '00 Honda Prelude...;).

That's a lie.

M3 is better :)

it is a lie, cause you dont see Skylines around, so to have one would be a pretty unique thing. I'm suprised rich people don't have them :(

I have seen a couple around the states. One in Cali for $50,000. A couple on ebay. The running rate is around $50,000 for a 1999. Most in the states either have tons of miles, or no miles. I've been looking to buy one myself.

why not just take out the rb20 or rb26 in the skyline and drop in a rb30 or bore and stroke the rb26dett to a 30? lol

1. VLs are too old, gotta fix up the body and sometimes the interior

2. you won't have to do that for a skyline, maybe a lil bit on the body for scratches and stuff...

3. all the guy wanted was to know where to purchase a skyline not what he should purchase :D lol

if you're too busy to check out importers.. try and find japanese import sites.. they're often cheaper than buying from jap importers outside of japan
