Got Gameboy Advance SP?

Recommended Posts

Who here has one of these puppies? I just got mine in platinum and love it. What games do you find are the best for this? I currently own Mario Kart but I am borrowing Tetris and Madden from a friend. Anyone have Virtua Tennis?

I played a lot of Golden Sun on the advanced, but then I got to a part that I did not know what to do...and I was almost at the end of the game!!!

The SP is very cool, you can turn the screen light on and off (to save battery), and you don't have to buy new batteries, you just have to recharge the one that comes with it. But somehow I still like the original more, dunno why...

Megaman and Warioland anre good games too...

Pok?mon is a great game. In fact it wasn't even meant for kids, it's just that kids seemed to be stuck on Pok?mon.

i was looking at how stylish it was and everything, and then i played it, found out how smooth the buttons were and everything.....

NOW I WANT ONE!

Yes, it is a very good handheld. The backlit LCD really brings out the games true colors.

I was reading on another forum that EBgames.com has a trade-in program for Gameboys.

I don't know the particulars, but I guess you can bring in your old game boys players and games and trade them in towards a new Gameboy advance. I don't imagine they will give you much, but if the old players are just going to be sitting around collecting dust - it might be worthwhile for some.

I'm actually stickin' with my old GBA, not goin' for the SP. Only cause the Gamecube doesn't work with the GBA SP. :(

Are you serious? I never even knew this. Oh well, I still have my Gameboy Advance.

Unless it changed, the SP can't be used to connect to the Gamecube, only the GBA.

Yes, I was recently at an Ebgames at the mall and they had a trade in program for the GBA SP. Trade in your GBA + 2 games and you could get the GBA SP for $49.99.

Yes it can, stop spreading FUD.

edit:

Why oh why can't people seem to read, it's says what it is in plain English right on the GBA(SP). It's Advance, not Advanced or Advantage or anything else like that.
