Most of the quotes are nice IMHO. If you guys have any quotes to add, don't hesitate to post! Don't forget to quote who said that quote if you know the person. You could also create your own quote if you can't find one that isn't already on the list above :)

I've written an article (which is quite long) from what i understand and feel about the subject on kindness. I think it explains more on how i feel about the subject and it can be considered as my own opinion but if any of you guys are interested, please read it at my own blogging site:

great blog (Y) many points i agree with.

Thank you. Well i may have missed quite a number of points because i didn't want to write so much and bore the reader so i decided to keep it just nice. I hope that it can at least open up some of our minds a bit on the subject and that not many people actually take the time to even think about all these. Which is why i decided to put it up on my blog (which wasn't much on the subject originally but it may change in the future, i haven't really decided yet).

For those who have read the article, i've updated it and added a few more points after the paragraph that starts with :

"I believe that it is this kind of feeling...."

So you can continue reading from there onwards. Keep in mind that this is my personal point of view on the subject.

As i've said it is just my opinion and not to mention that it isn't an obsession at all. I'm not living my life day by day and dedicating 100% of my life to acts of kindness but if i wanted, i could and i don't see anything wrong with that even. It is only through kindness, we can achieve inner peace with ourselves. That's what i believe. Also take note that i am NOT a Christian or affiliated to any religion at all - i am a free thinker. But the way i say things may sound like i'm not a free thinker at all.

It's just my opinion on the subject, if you don't like it then its ok, everyone has their own way of perceiving things. Nobody can force you to be kind to others but one day you may come to realise that there is some truth in what i've said. I wrote the article to create an awareness. After reading, if you feel that it is time to perform random acts of kindness then that's good to hear! But even if you don't feel that way, i can't really do anything much about it - it's your own will to do what you want to do.

Quote Taken From Morpheous (from The Matrix):

I can only show you the door, but you're the one who has to walk through it

That's one of the main reasons why not many want to be kind to others - fear of being put off by the other party (or parties) for being kind. Not to mention that most people who are kind often get the "what's in it for you" response. But if you're really sincere and are willing to ignore what these people have said, there's no reason why kindness should stop anywhere at any given time.
