link6155
Moto G is a crazy good deal for the price it's at. While it may not have flagship specs, it gets the job done quite nicely and exceeds expectations that many people had.
neo158
Not everyone is the same.. There are a ton of apps that I use for work, that I couldn't get to work on an Windows Phone unless I changed my workflow.. I basically use my phone for everything.. When I travel, I'll just hook my phone up to a monitor and use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, launch VMware View. Done. Which is why I stated that I "... have all the apps I need?" Note the "I" in the comment!!! DConnell 1 Share
HellboundIRL
I decided to get the Nexus 5, it's $100 more than the Moto G but I think it's worth it. I think that was the best choice, the extra gig of ram alone makes a big difference.
tim_s
Hi, I have been a long time Android user. It started with my love of Linux and it seemed an excellent side step, although using the Linux kernal has almost zero impact. Twice I tried to make the switch to iPhone and it was a nice change, I missed aspects of the day to day user experience of Android although people claim it is more refined on the iPhone. I had the iPhone 5s and it took me awhile to make the switch again but I am happily back in the Android world. During the above journey I was looking into the Windows Phone as I have friends who love the platform but Microsoft has not refreshed their flagship lineup and thus the timing was wrong but the offering seemed amazing. My vote is for the Nexus 5 as it is nicely priced device and it will receive the latest OS build with lollipop .
