kenterlogic
We all encounter really whacky bugs from time to time that no one else seems to get. On my old HP all my games ran in slow-motion. Their frame rates were great, but they were just in slow motion (about 40% speed). It was totally bizare and included DirectX, DirectDraw and OpenGL games. Also, I used to play EverQuest and there would be all sorts of red-pixelation artifacts all over the place, propably a color problem? Nope. Amazingly, my HP with 1.4GHz Athlon and a GeForce 2 ran Halo at about 40FPS but probably was a bug, because it only supported DirectX 7 and had all sorts of weird visual things happening (damn you nVidia unified drivers). So my question is-- what is the whackiest crap that has ever happened to you and your beloved game rig?

Banjo
Ahh... /me remembers the good old days of Renegade I had a collection of about 50 crazy bugs... things like getting a car that had no wheels, walking off the map, going on building you can't normally go on, flying C4 *sniff sniff* good times, good times  But sadly, I forgot to back them all up when I formatted :pinch: Oh ya, and my friend said he once saw a guy in BF1942 running around without a helmet (you lose it when you die) and he thought he was invincible because he was so good :p Edit 2: Anyone that plays Starcraft should know the words Can you do 20 (or whatver it's at now) tricks? kalizar
oh i have another one too... in Dark Cloud for PS2, i wasnt able to beat the game because there was some kind of bug that prevented me from opening a door in the sunken ship with the genie. I still havnt been able to open it so i know it has to be a glitch.

MegaManXcalibur
I had a neat one when I was playing Command and Conquer Red Alert against a friend. I launched an A-Bomb at his base, it hit blew up, the normal. but then another came down in the exact same spot, and then another, and then another, it was an infinite loop of A-Bombs. It was hilarious since he couldn't build in that location for the rest of the game.
Jelly2003
There are plenty of wacky bugs in RTCW on XBOX. One of my favs is where you back up against this table in multiplayer, you look up at this ladder and run towards it. Your player sinks into the ground and explodes. Its really neat when you have a group of ppl on multiplayer and you get to watch it!

Ji@nBing
in NHL 94 for the SNES my friend and i used to continuously charge the goalie and get peanalties. after a while the whole team would have a peanalty and then funky things started happening. the goalies would turn into players, the puck would turn into a net, and u could skate arround in the crowd. another thing in that game is if u select the goalie and then pull him, u can skate arround the rink with him. if anyone touched u they would be knocked down, and THEY would get an interferance peanalty. oh, the halarity of that game   edit: just realized this is in PC gamer. oh well, it's still funny :p
XavierHyde
At the end of Monkey Island 3, there's a glitch or programmer error: if you try to Pick Up the sign with "Guess yer weight'n'age" on it, the screen goes completely black except for a few pixels. It is said you can restore a visible Guybrush somehow, but you can't restore visible scenery.

~Bull}{Dog~
I had that slowmo thing one time I loaded up a UT botmatch. It was on deck 16 and I had 800fps on a geforce2MX and everything slowed down. It was almost like when you use the slomo console command but with an ultra high frame rate.
