how to switch to a pc...

http://www.searchrochester.com/blackcider/switch.html

this is not good at all... :( really bad news for apple

anyone on neowin had a problem like this with their iBook?

Why do you consider it bad news? This won't put apple out of business or anything. Worst case senario Apple's image is slightly tarnished and they lose a few customers, but hey, what company doesn't have this problem?

And what's so bad if someone says 'switch to pc from mac.' Those in the PC camp have had this statement looming over their backs for quite a while now.

its not an issue with current products, therefore they can easily bounce back fromt his by advertising hte fact that there is no issues with the new ibooks, hinting to these customers to upgrade.

I had the problem described with mine...fortunately it was still under warranty so they fixed it but they were pushing the APP. Since they fixed it I haven't had any problems.
