Praetor
It's for 32 or 64 bits Windows 7? edit: just checked, HP doesn't provide Windows 7+ drivers for this. So your best bet is to get some app that provides what is the OEM of said CD-ROM; you can try aida64, Speccy and many others.
Mando
could anyone help me with this please I cant find the driver anywhere .thanks if u can :D Have you checked HP support Drivers and Downloads? Click the right hand side option and allow it to autodetect on the machine. http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/drivers.html alternatively the link below is for the 2 models of Nx7400 http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/support-search.html?tab=1#/qryterm=Nx7400&search_searchtype=s-002 If your needing a Windows setup disk to put windows onto it, any windows 7 media will work with your HP oem key of the same type (e.g. windows 7 home oem works with a windows 7 home media, w7 pro needs win7 pro etc etc, or use win7 ultimate media for all) and that works for both x86 or x64 your choice when selecting your media (DVD, bootable usb key with downloaded iso mounted). When it fails to activate over the web after install, choose the telephone option for your country and follow the requests, it will activate eventually.
