Mindovermaster
You find your other monitor lacking in some way? What size are you looking for, being your last one was 24"? You want DVI or perhaps HDMI connections?
Matt714
Thanks for your reply. Not really. Just wondering if the higher-end ones are worth it when it comes to discernible image quality; or is it analogous to the price disparity of HDMI cables? I have no size in mind, but most games, even recently published ones, only support up to 1980x1020 - so I wouldn't want to go too big. HDMI connection is a must. Onboard audio I can live without. Do higher end monitors make a difference? Yes. Is that difference enough to matter to you? Maybe so, maybe not. High end monitors are generally appreciated by the design crowd more than the gamer crowd...

Matt714
Link doesn't work.... Fixed: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA66K2043887&cm_re=BenQ_gaming-_-9SIA66K2043887-_-Product However someone recommended that I take in consideration that monitors have long lifespans and get this instead: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236405&cm_re=Asus_ROG_Swift-_-24-236-405-_-Product
Hum
Get a real world look at the screen first. I've learned not to buy based on supposed specs.
Boo Berry
The PG278Q (and every G-Sync monitor) works only with DisplayPort and not HDMI. Personally, I considered that monitor but seeing as it's a TN panel, I didn't bother. However if you can afford it, don't mind using DisplayPort and don't mind the TN panel, go for it! 1440p 144Hz G-Sync.
Anibal P
I'd recommend any of the Korean 27" 1440 screens, good screens, and decent price
