adamp2p
I just went out and bought a new hard drive to install Panther on my Mom's G4. I know how to do this with Windows but have no idea how to do this with a Mac. There is a CD-ROM drive, so how do you enter Mac BIOS and tell it to boot from disk? Any help or related links will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your replies.
Steve
Pop the CD in, and hold down 'C' *i think*, then it boots from the CD, and thats it.
Callaway
Pop the CD in, and hold down 'C' *i think*, then it boots from the CD, and thats it. Or you can hold down the ALT key as you boot and then choose to boot to the cd-rom. Either one will work.
