Yes I totally agree, StarWars KOTOR really is a master piece, I've been playing it for over 25 hours and I've loved every second. This was my first RP game ever, and it beats the pants off any other game i've EVER played. My ONLY crititism is that it doesn't have a multiplayer, which would make the game complete in my opinion. Hopefully they might make an expansion pack for it, like they did for Unreal 2 with XMP.

I wouldn't be surprised if it did get GOTY, it is truly a masterpiece but this year the competition is pretty good with contenders such as Max Payne 2, Home World 2, Prince of Persia & Call of Duty.

How could multiplayer possibly help a story driven game? What benefit would it have (aside from the usual "I want to play with my friends")?

I thought it was horrible but didnt play it past the first few rooms. I never like that style of RPG though so thats probably why...

Silver style fighting would problably have saved it for me, playing a Jedi is far too much fun to miss out on.

I definitely feel that the game deserves to be GOTY. I definitely enjoyed every hour I spent on the game trying to be as light as they come. Look fwd to being a total ****** when I play through it again.

If I were to fix anything, it would be the fact that the computer controlled players sometimes got into fights that I wanted to avoid or prepare for.

KotOR is as much of a story driven game as Neverwinter Nights, and they have a pretty nice multiplayer system going on...

it was sweet that you could be evil and become the sith lord, and not a plot that was stagnant. I would say its a good game as i logged probaly 22 hours in it. NFSU deiserver meatnon. Maxpayne 2 wasnt all that, and homeworld 2 disgustingly similar to the first one (dont take me wrong the first one was amazing, but they could have at least changed the plot, and the took out a whole bunch of tactics). I nominate NFSU tho, cause knotor kinda draged at some points, and i thought it was too easy (i beat the boss on my first try)

I talked to two friends that came to 2 different endings than I did. This is an amazing game. If it doesn't get GOtY, I don't know what will. It's a vast, epic game that begs you to play it again.

It definitely deserves to be game of the year. I have never felt so evil in my life until I slaughtered hobos for making me pay to use the elevator or have two families kill themselves. It was glorious!

Because I'de love to be able to do something more with my character now that I've finished the game. ;)

What possable objections do you have to something that's only going to add to the games already impressive feature list?
