Lock
U can resize NTFS partitions it is hit and miss, NTFS support is largely still read-only unless you compile the latest kernel havent tried final release of Mandy 9.2. Easiest option if u have a workable WinXP, backup your data, delete and recreate partition as FAT32.
markwolfe Veteran Posted December 15, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2003 Easiest option if u have a workable WinXP, backup your data, delete and recreate partition as FAT32. That may not be teh easiest option.... But it is the most reliable one! If you cannot (or really, REALLY do not wish to) reformat and reinstall your XP (having it on FAT is a big advantage for data sharing on a dual boot PC!), I would STRONGLY recommend borrowing a copy of Partition Magic! PM has been the only fully successful NTFS resizer I have found. (perhaps there is a "demo" version you can download off the internet, use once, and delete? ;) ) Mark
