Free pc's

It's most likely just a software based advertizement system, since they make you install the software and the advertizements. You're required to sign on-line at least once a month (no doubt to upload logs to make sure you keep up with your quota.) You could probably get another hdd installed with another copy of windows ad-free and use that the majority of the time, and play out your advertizements while you sleep.

*Note: They may check to make sure your computer is not idle when it plays the advertizements. If this is the case, I can see a lot of people using those anti-idle programs from back in the pay-to-watch-ad programs. You know, the advertizement tickers?

They're targeting a specific market here: People who have the constant ads 24/7 already from adware. They should make their company slogan "Got enough ads? Try ours, comes with a free PC!" It's probably going to end up hurting them in the end, since any knowledgeable user wouldn't dare touch this deal.

I have already got this thing cracked (well I know how, and I am positive it would work), but I am a Mac only user and am in the US, so it wont matter :p

i think the best solution so far is to partition or add a new drive and run the adverts during the night or when your out
My idea is way better then that, and it would let you use your own OS (winblows or linux) all the time and never see the ads :p

to haxor the world with his macintosh. there's really no way to get around not looking at the advertizements at some point since it updates with server to upload your data. well, maybe one way. but it'd require you to setup fake data to send, but being as they got financing for this they probably have some decent security measures to protect against that. best solution was setting up a new hdd and installing an os on that, and switching to the advertizement installation while you sleep with a anti-idle program (if needed), or an auto-click program (if needed).. anything more than that is just too much work, even to get around advertizements.

but why rip off a company sending you a free pc anyway?
