This delayed voting thread unfortunately comes bearing bad news in relation to the competition.

 

As of this voting thread, no further competitions will be made, I'm sure it has become clear to you all that the number of entries per month has been slowly drying up and at the point when we get this number of entries over an extended period of two months shows that the interest in this area of the forum really is dying out (when it comes to the actual taking of photos).

 

It is with my deepest regret that I have to discontinue the competition, as I always enjoyed seeing the variety of entries that were posted, and the different directions each member took with the themes.It really showed how different the human mind can be between people and how they interpret phrases or words.

 

Going forward, if you have any images you wish to share, please post them in the Digital Gallery thread (of which there will be a new one posted next month to commemorate the start of 2015) for other members to comment and critique. Additionally there is the community's Flickr group available for sharing our photos.

 

To end this on a high note, the entries here over this month or two have definitely been different to say the least, so get voting on your favourite, the thread will close at 22:00 GMT on the 11th Dec 2014. In addition, once the winner is decided I will create a "best of the best" poll, which will see the winners from each month go head to head to see which is truly the "Neowin Photograph of the Year 2014."

Ah that's a huge shame, let's hope we can keep the Digital Gallery alive and kicking. I've a load of pictures that I'll be uploaded over the weekend. Vote added :)
