HellBender
Since that other thread was so popular and no one wanted to make a new one, I'll go ahead and do it. So here's the official Neowin Riddles Thread (and if its popular, maybe it'll be a sticky too). Whoever answers the previous riddle gets to ask the next one. Try to change the wording around so a direct google search doesn't reveal an answer. I'll start us off.... A man is given the death sentence. He is allowed to make a final statement; if the statement is true, he will be hanged. If it is false, he will be poisoned. When he uttered his statement, he was allowed to go free (no death). What was the statement?

dickie
A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50." The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less. In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50.
