On the other hand the Xbox game discs use XDFS instead of standard UDF.
AaronMT
How can we get xbox emulation when we dont even have dreamcast emulation still, or fully perfect 100% functioning n64 emulation?
MkNawabi
For the moderator who replied that the system was only meant for one task, you my friend are quite wrong. I understand you were trying to go with a simple answers, but you have to remember the games can have more than one thread. Some effects, or physics could be probably run under a different THREAD. This is the whole essence of multi-tasking; having multiple threads.

iMonkey
Taking this a little bit more off-topic, but if you (somehow) managed to flash the BIOS of an XBOX, would it be possible t install windows on it ? (assuming that you would have to format the HDD etc..)

(assuming that you would have to format the HDD etc..) Why bother? If you get a modchip you might as well as install linux and ou will have a fully working system. Except for the video drivers, which you will have to use vesa for :/
HellBender
,Dec 24 2003, 07:59] the difference is that the pc is a multitasking machine, x-box in the other hand is an optimized machine for just one task, run the game And yet, you can run the same software on an xbox as you can on a PC (i.e. linux)

Bizkit
I thought that they had the pc there, then an Xbox plugged into the pc, and they coded something, then sent that part of the game to the xbox to see if it would work. I saw them do that for the PS2 and I was thinking that maybe they do that with the Xbox. Don't ask me to find where I got that, as it was like a year ago I saw that. Bizkit
No he doesn't. They are in the computer case, but not on the computers harddrive. He has a switch that changes the output video so you can change what you see. Nice try though.
