NeoMasamune
I'm running Fedora Linux and Firebird. My biggest problem is that, even though I can watch quicktime movies that I've downloaded ( with MPlayer), I couldn't see them in Firebird - like I can in Windows. I was never able to find a plugin for it. :( I found this very annoying because I would have to download each movie by looking at the page source, skimming through all the code and finding the link. Frustrated, I searched and searched and found the solution! A guy named SuseUX made this plugin for Mozilla. All you have to do is put it in your Firebird plugins folder, restart your browser and BAM! Instant Quicktime movies! I thought that I would share this with you all because I'm sure that I'm not the only Linux user that found this problem annoying. :D Edit: (I think you have to install MPlayer first for this to work)

NeoMasamune
Does it let you play the movies in Firebird, or just in xine?
kjordan2001
Does it let you play the movies in Firebird, or just in xine? I think it pops up a xine window.
NeoMasamune
That's cool. With this though, nothing pops up. It just plays the movie in the page itself
Mike Douglas
SuseUX didn't create the plugin, he just compiled it. here is the original creators
