quigley0
Does anyone think it is strange that EA Madden has ads and sponsor's, ESPN Football Countdown?? I mean, doesn't ESPN sponsor a game already? Wouldn't they best be served by promoting their own game??

djlethal01
Yea I thought the same thing when I saw this on monday, i dont think ESPN Videogames are happy, but I dont think they can do anything because madden has been there before espn videogames. Toxikk Veteran Posted December 22, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 22, 2003 abc and espn have kind of a lets say 'partnership' that is why they always have madden come on espn sunday nfl countdown and talk about the monday night game, and anything else in the league that is hot. makes sense to me that they would do that for espn in madden. mikeski7
Guys, I work for ESPN. The reason for this is... ESPN and ABC are sister companies, both owned by the Walt Disney Company. You will see a lot more ESPN/ABC joint ventures in the future.
