suprNOVA
I'm playing Dragon Age: Inquisition and it seems to be lagging. I check the system process window and notice that 3.93GB of memory is in use and I have about 300 roughly available even less. My GPU is GTX750TI and CPU is Intel Core i5 4th Gen @ 3.5GHZ I believe. I'm thinking about buying RAM in an hour because I think that is the culprit. Would you guys suspect the same thing?
Mindovermaster
If your CPU is running hot, it can become sluggish as well. But yeah, RAM should definately help it.
Max Norris
Absolutely, if your memory is near maxed out it's going to go swap-happy, which does wonders for killing performance. (You're just hitting bare minimum, Inquisition's recommended is 8GB+) Give your OS some breathing room. No idea on your GPU specs, haven't done an nVidia in a long time, I forget if Inquisition does or not but I do know some games allow you to specify how big of a texture set to use, overloading that will have a similar result if your GPU doesn't have the memory to hold all that.
