Steve
http://www.itunesregistry.com/ Basically, you upload ya iTunes library XML file and it provides a breakdown of your music etc, so if ya bored, why not share yours... I assume it'd work on Windows too, altho I couldn't say for sure, maybe someone could try it? My Info: http://www.itunesregistry.com/reports/repo...php?showuser=73 Tracks 2,551 (Average: 1,825.9 ) Artists 961 (Average: 153.8 ) Genres 25 (Average: 5.7 ) Diversity Rating 2.8542 (higher is better) Total Time 8.04 days (Total: 0.00 seconds ) Total Listening Hours 23.25 days (Total: 0.00 seconds ) Avg Track Length 4.54 minutes (Average: 0.00 seconds ) Avg Rating (excluding 0-star) 73.93 /100 Number of Ratings 389 ( 15.2 %) You appear to like R&B the most, with Craig David your favorite, which is weird since you've spent more time listening to Joe yet you have more Craig David than anything else (in this genre). Craig David is also your favorite artist.
danbalsh
Looks good, but I don't fancy uploading my iTunes XML file to a website :(
the evn show
There is no way to know what's legal and what isn't. I copied as many files to my iBook as would fit and am uploading the xml file now - 6mb. It's not going to dethrone the 20,000 track man, but it will probably make top 20 (how hard is it to stomp someone who _only_ has 3000 tracks ;)) ---- yup: http://www.itunesregistry.com/reports/top.php see me: http://www.itunesregistry.com/reports/repo...hp?showuser=145 woot. Now to delete this crap. OS X sucks when you only have 14mb free. EDIT: that's actually just the listing of stuff on my iPod.
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted December 18, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 18, 2003 I'll have to wait until I get home to my PC to really throw things down. I should make top 10 with my full listing. I'll upload my iBook stuff now though... Redestium
It'd be cool if they built this sort of stat tracking right into iTunes.
isus
if i didn't have to sign up for yet another thing, i would consider it.

Tim Dorr Veteran Posted December 19, 2003 Veteran Share Posted December 19, 2003 if i didn't have to sign up for yet another thing, i would consider it. They don't even require email validation. I'd do it just for the curiosity :p
stoavio
An interesting idea however I don't see the point in uploading your file for others to see. I'm quite content with no one else knowing :)
