wtmcgee Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 weird, it's telling me: Make sure you have permission to write to /tmp/501/TemporaryItems/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate, then try again. is it safe to delete /tmp/ and see if that helps? sebaz Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 after the update on my rev a. 12 in pbook ..my fan has been on for quite a while now...the finder network shortcut is still useless, gotta still use command+k. Havent tested the new video drivers. wtmcgee: Have u tried moving the com.apple.SoftwareUpdate file to the desktop just that file not the whole folder?
