I'm looking for a keyboard around $60 CAD (i know -__-)

Purpose:

-mostly typing and general purpose

-don't care much for gaming at all

Requirements:

-small or tenkeyless

-some kind of key depth unlike my current MS Arc

Doesn't matter:

-wired or wireless

-dome or mechanical or whatever :p

I have a similar package for my daughter's machine, does the job nicely, although the one negative I do have about it is, you can't go into the boot settings using this. (F8 safe mode etc)

watch out for knockoffs with fake cherry switches.

Well, I understand there are switches other than Cherry. And I'm ok with that, don't really have "to have Cherry MX xyz!!!!!!". :)

At 90$ you might be able to find a CM Storm QuickFire TK, great little tenkeyless keyboards and they're available with various Cherry MX switches (I recommend browns). I use one for my personal computer and a CM Storm QuickFire Pro at work. The TK is fully backlit and has a combined numpad + arrows/home-end-ins-del-pgup-pgdn, which is a mixed blessing as switching between the two modes is somewhat cumbersome but a numpad is occasionally useful. The Pro isn't backlit and has no numpad, so it's simpler to use. I slightly prefer the TK, but one of my colleagues at work prefers the Pro, it's personal preference.

I prefer TKL and considered the QuickFire Rapid. However, I might actually get the Corsair K65 on a good deal!
